Everyone wants to feel great about themselves and their life. We want to feel free, happy, satisfied in our relationships, confident in ourselves, and capable of meeting life's demands with grace and ease. Imagine waking up each day feeling this way!

Sometimes we face difficult challenges, and we are not always as well equipped emotionally or psychologically to gracefully attend to what arises. We can become overwhelmed, stressed, and experience feelings of being lost, out of control, and uncertain about how to proceed. Cue old predictable patterns!

We need an advanced set of tools to navigate the world around us as well as our inner world of complex thoughts and feelings. The Inner Fitness program is a comprehensive practical guide for living, feeling, and creating your best life, as well as how to handle the everyday challenges, and the really hard stuff.

The 5 Pillars (lessons) of the Inner Fitness Program offers a holistic approach to “inner work” that focuses on the well-being of your whole self: mind, body, and spirit. Each Pillar represents an important focus of attention and intention.  When you nourish each of these components, by practicing shifting your perspective from survival mode to an authentically empowered and present mode, you strengthen new wiring in your brain.  This is the basis of how we can rewire our brain.  This is how we grow and change. Neuroplasticity works with consistency of behavior over time


Pillar 1

Wake up!

Wake Up! means activating and practicing the foundational Pillar of Inner Fitness to help you understand the ways you become unconscious in your life, and how you get stuck in old predictable patterns that lead you away from becoming your best self and living your best possible life. Wake up! is a practice that shines a spotlight on the ways you can get trapped in your Victim Story, and illuminates a path of awareness which restores you to Presence, your awakened state of being. And when you make this Shift, you are living your Great Story!

Wake Up! is an invitation to engage in your life in a more conscious way and break old patterns by becoming masterful at Recognizing your survival-based ingrained patterns and Shifting to your more wise and enlightened inner voice. It asks for a commitment to yourself to transform by healing your past, improving your relationships, and building a future that aligns with who you are and and lights you up. 

Wake Up! 4 Steps to Awaken in the moment:

  1. Recognize your negative thoughts, feelings and behaviors associated with living in survival mode, often experienced as stress.

  2. Be curious about what's happening in your inner world of thoughts and feelings, and in your outer world. Take note for later learning.

  3. Take a very intentional Pause and Breath (or breaths) to clear your mind and become present in the moment.

  4. Shift to embody your most Aware Self where you see more clearly and act most wisely!

Pillar 2

Heal Your Past

Life invariably brings us experiences of loss and sometimes overwhelming challenges that can leave lasting imprints on our minds and bodies. Yet within these difficult experiences lies the potential for profound growth, deep compassion, and authentic healing. In this lesson, we will talk about the important differences between grief and trauma, how to navigate these challenges, and transforming them into our greatest sources of wisdom, strength and growth.

In most psychodynamic approaches, healing your past isn't about forgetting or "getting over" difficult experiences—it's about integrating them in a way that transforms you, and allows you to move forward with greater wholeness, hope, and authentic strength.

But what about the idea of "letting it go"? If we lean into Buddhist teachings, the concept of "non-attachment" would allow us to "let it go" as just a passing thought, which could reduce our suffering significantly.  I love this idea, and it challenges me.  So I’m working both options!

There are many modalities for healing trauma using the body, mind and spirit.  Take Your Pick!   There is a lot of  “buzz” about healing trauma and Post Traumatic Growth in the internet world.  With good discernment, I think this is fantastic.  Today we have new language, new understanding, new hope with a holistic approach that integrates healing modalities from each sector of wellness; body, mind and spirit. Healing trauma is possible!

Live in the Present

What does it really mean to "Live in the Present"? How do we live in this moment, both Connected and Free, committed to meeting all that arises in our life with Wisdom and Care, with all that is chaotic in the world and in our own lives?

Lesson 3 continues to build on the foundational practice of Recognizing and Shifting from unconscious survival mode to conscious presence, from stuck to free, from Victim Story to Great Story! Can you imagine what a life of freedom actually means for you?  We’ll discuss emotions, what it means to feel fully, be responsible for your impact, and the importance of elevating and aligning your emotional energies with your Future Self.  This is how to manifest!

Lesson 3 takes a deeper look at other building blocks of a wholehearted life, exploring the importance of living with integrity, purpose, courage, authenticity, passion, and values. Living in the present moment doesn't mean that we ignore our past or not plan our future. Living in Presence, our Awake Self, means we draw wisdom from our past while actively engaging the emotions that align with the vision of our Future.

Build Healthy Relationships

Lesson 4 is an invitation to explore your relationships, romantic or otherwise, and make them better.

Most of us unconsciously bring our survival patterns into relationships—seeking validation, trying to control outcomes, or protecting ourselves from past wounds—which keeps us stuck in cycles of conflict, disappointment, and disconnection.

Relationships are amazing opportunities to learn about your default patterns of behavior. Your most hidden wounds will reveal themselves in relationship! With insight, and a willingness to take responsibility, you can learn to shift from relating from your wounded, needy parts to connecting from your whole, authentic self—creating relationships built on genuine intimacy, mutual growth, and unconditional love... and a lot more fun!

Design Your Future

The science of metaphysics tells us that when we synchronize our intention, our deepest desire and unwavering commitment to doing the work, with elevated emotions such as love and joy, the universe will respond in kind.

The world of healers and many of those who have had miraculous medical healings will say that when you inhabit higher vibrational states of being for longer periods of time, you become a vessel of divine light where manifesting becomes easy, and miracles happen!

From a pragmatic approach, you design and manifest your Future Self using your creative mind with your imagination, to envision it, engage the journey to elevate your emotions to higher vibrations by continuing to strengthen the 5 Pillars of 

The state of being you are in right now is already cultivating your future reality. Change is always a choice.

Choose Freedom! Your enlightened future self is emotionally sovereign, authentic, wise, connected, and Free!  What other qualities does your Future Self have?
